The Threshold series considers the painted surface as a place of passage—where color, rhythm, and structure meet at the edge of transformation. In Threshold of Night, that passage is quieter, deeper, and more atmospheric.

Here, blue becomes more than color; it becomes space, pressure, and mood. I wanted the painting to feel nocturnal without becoming still, layered without becoming heavy, and abstract while still carrying the sense of an interior world just beyond description.
