Commissions

Custom Work, Built With Intention

A commission isn’t “make me something.” It’s “translate this meaning into a piece that can live on a wall.” If you bring the word, story, or concept — I’ll bring the design discipline, materials plan, and finish.

Best for: collectors, gifts, offices/clinics, venues, and anyone who wants a piece that says something without shouting.

Commission Tiers

Pick a lane. We can always adjust once we talk details.

Study

Small, focused pieces — quick turnaround, strong value.

  • Sizes: 8×10, 9×12, 11×14
  • Best for: gifts, first-time collectors
  • Typical range: ~$140–$250

Price depends on complexity, metallics, and surface choice.

Statement

Mid-size pieces with layered text, texture, and finish.

  • Sizes: 12×16, 16×20, 18×24
  • Best for: offices, home focal walls
  • Typical range: ~$335–$900

Great fit for mottos, names, memorial pieces, and “hope/resilience” themes.

Anchor

Large works designed to own the room. Slow-burn, high impact.

  • Sizes: 24×30, 30×40, 36×36 (and up)
  • Best for: venues, collectors, statement walls
  • Typical range: quoted

Includes expanded design packet + finish plan.

Process

  1. Conversation: word(s), vibe, palette, size, and where it will live.
  2. Design packet: thumbnails + lettering studies + palette direction.
  3. Production: layered ground → inscription → glazes/scumbles → finish.
  4. Delivery: ready-to-hang, plus COA (Certificate of Authenticity).

Timeline

Typical turnaround is 2–4 weeks for studies and statements, longer for large anchors. If you have a hard deadline, say so early — we’ll either make it work or I’ll tell you plainly.

Deposit & Policies

  • Deposit: typically 30–50% to reserve the slot and materials.
  • Revisions: design packet revisions are included; final artwork revisions are limited.
  • Shipping: available; cost depends on size and packing.

Student/community discounts when possible — ask. If I can, I will.
